Refund and Returns Policy

Overview

The below Terms and Conditions regulate all transactions with Abodery, covering the sale and supply of products purchased either in-store and via our online platform at abodery.co.za. By placing an order, providing delivery instructions, or accepting the delivery of any products from Abodery, you agree to these Terms and Conditions without exception. It is important to note that these Terms and Conditions do not affect or replace your statutory rights under applicable law.

The Abodery refund and returns policy lasts 14 days, clients are to inspect each item upon arrival and alert us of any damages or manufacturing faults. We, unfortunately, can’t offer you a full refund or exchange if 14 days have passed since your purchase. Your item must be unused, uninstalled and in the same condition as when you received it in order to be eligible for a return. It must also be in the original packaging. Any scratches to glass or mirrors needs to be alerted to the Abodery team at hello@abodery.co.za, within 24 hours to qualify for an exchange. Photos or videos must be sent with the email.

We require a receipt or proof of purchase in order to complete your return.

Refunds

A return or refund request must be sent to Abodery in writing. We will send you an email to notify you that we have received your return request and once we have received the item we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Custom made items will not qualify for a refund.

Late or missing refunds

Please check your bank account if you haven’t yet received a refund.

Contact your credit card company if your refund hasn’t reflected. It may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at hello@abodery.co.za.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

Abodery will replace an item only if there is a manufacturing defect which we will inspect upon the items return. If you need to exchange an item for the same item in a different size or colour, send us an email at hello@abodery.co.za and we will discuss the options with you. An exchange may incur handling fees if the item you returned is damaged or no longer in resale condition. We request that items be returned packaged adequately for transport either in its original packaging, alternatively it is in the clients best interest to wrap the item themselves. Transport fees will be calculated based on the term or reason for exchange.

Custom made orders unfortunately cannot be exchanged.

Shipping Returns

To return your product, the client will need to arrange the item to be couriered back to Abodery either in its original packaging or re-packaged. Third-Party courier companies do not offer packaging upon collection so it is the clients responsibility to package the item to avoid damage.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

The shipping time for returns will vary dependent on where you live.
